Our AMA Triangle team works with local colleges and universities (especially those with AMA collegiate chapters) to drive value for students and to encourage involvement after graduation. Any student can attend AMA Triangle events. Why do this? To network with experienced marketers, learn more about the profession, and gain valuable insights about the working world.
Marketing Jam is a one-day case competition established in 2018. In randomly assigned teams, college students assume the role of consultants to address a client’s real-world marketing problem. The winning team takes home a $2,000 scholarship!
In four hours, teams complete a situation analysis, evaluate alternatives, and formulate a recommended action plan before presenting their work to a panel of marketing professionals serving as judges.
During the working session, teams have access to marketing professionals for advice and feedback. Students also have an opportunity to connect with AMA Triangle professionals in a speed networking session.
This year, Marketing Jam will be held virtually on February 27, 2021 from 9am -5pm EST!
