Join a dedicated, safe space for our BIPOC community to seek fellowship, camaraderie and some much-needed conversation.
Sometimes you just need space to be yourself… a place where you can truly bring your whole self to the table, apologetically and without judgment. AMA Triangle is proud to invite our BIPOC community to join us in a dedicated space for marketers of color by marketers of color. Come join us for some real talk and discover the power of community! #UnleashTheMagic
AMA Triangle believes that marketing is for everyone, and we’re doing everything in our power* to be the change we want to see. Our mission this year is to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive future, by making sure that AMA Triangle focuses on the person, not just the marketer. This mission is called: “The Whole Marketer Promise”, and part of that promise is the creation of safe spaces for our communities to discuss the things that really matter to them.
As a result, we’re teaming up with our sister chapter and DEI thought leaders at AMA PDX, in Portland, Oregon to create a dedicated safe space for our BIPOC communities coast to coast. Join AMA Triangle President, Misty Wilson, AMA PDX VP of Programming, Reland Logan, and AMA Triangle Director of DEI and Collegiate Relations, Nicole Filippo for a BIPOC exclusive filled with fellowship, camaraderie, and some much-needed conversation.
*AMA Triangle began its DEI journey in March by creating it's very first Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) team for the 2020-21 chapter year. It furthered its mission in May by co-founding and authoring a national AMA DEI Chapter Pledge along with AMA PDX, to be adopted by AMA chapters across the nation.
