We have volunteer roles that span all aspects of the chapter, with multiple levels of involvement (one-off, a few hours a month, 1-2 hours a week, etc.). Communications is the hub of the AMA Triangle chapter – nearly everything the chapter goes through communications. It is vital that the Communications Team provides consistency, accountability, and cohesiveness for our #1 AMA Chapter in the nation!
The PPC Manager will lead the charge on all paid search campaigns, managing campaign set up, optimizations, and reporting. This role will ensure campaigns meet Google compliance requirements and spending constraints.
This position will report to the VP of Communications for the AMA Triangle and will receive appropriate guidance.

Description: Purpose: The CONNECT & INSPIRE Event Coordinator supports the development of programming for current and future program participants. This role will assist with creating, planning and executing bi-monthly activities such as the program kick-off, trainings and social events. The Liaison Officer, DEI works most closely with the AVP, DEI. The Liaison Officer assists the DEI team by facilitating alignment and support across all AMAT functions. Each officer will be assigned at least one internal team (e.g. Programming, Membership, Communications, etc.) with which to liaise.

It’s the members of AMA Triangle have helped the chapter become the premier marketing association in the Triangle and Gold Chapter of the Year out of 75 chapters! Join the Membership Committee and lead efforts to recruit and retain member groups (3+ members from the same employer).
If you enjoy project management, strategic communications, and data management, this volunteer role is for you! The ideal candidate will be comfortable with selling, have a heart for outstanding customer (member) personal service, be a relationship builder, and self starter. The Director of Group Membership supports the VP of Membership while coordinating between Sponsorship, Communications, and other teams.

Purpose:
AMA Ally is a program to help new AMA Triangle members hit the ground running. New members will be able to opt-in to having an Ally and will be matched with a current member. The current member will share resources and information over the course of 30 days, with approximately four touch points.

Purpose: The Director of Operations supports the work of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and learns all aspects of the strategic and operational role to have the opportunity to become the COO in the future. This position supports the AMA Triangle chapter through a variety of HR and operations functions.
Key Responsibilities:
The Length of Appointment: The Dir. of Operations will serve for at least one board year with the opportunity to then move into the COO role
Time Commitment: 10 hours per month
Qualifications: Must be a member of the Triangle Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Support: Training for this position will be provided.
Benefits: This role is a great introduction to serving on a nonprofit board through attendance at Executive Board meetings for a firsthand look at how the board functions. This role is also meant to serve as preparation for serving on the Executive Board of AMA Triangle as the COO. And as a volunteer, you’ll also be given a 10% discount to all AMA Triangle events.
