AMA Triangle Mentor Program
The American Marketing Association Triangle Chapter (AMA) mentoring program helps local college students and young professionals who are pursuing careers in marketing.
The mission of the AMA Triangle Mentor Program is to connect college students majoring in marketing and young marketing professionals (3 years or less of professional experience) with experienced marketing professionals for support, guidance and encouragement as they pursue a marketing career.
AMA Triangle professionals who volunteer to be a mentor will be matched with a student/young professional with similar marketing interests. Mentors commit to invest their time listening, building trust, and establishing a relationship that encourages the mentee to make good decisions early in their career. Mentors and mentees are encouraged to communicate regularly via email, social media and face-to-face meetings.
Once you have completed your registration, we will review our database of registrants and match you with an appropriate person. We can’t guarantee we’ll have a match for you immediately, but once we identify a potential match, we will send an email introduction to the mentor and mentee.
If you are a college student or a young marketing professional wanting to have a mentor, register here.
If you are an AMA member and want to be part of the marketing mentor program as a mentor, register here. Below we’ve identified current gaps in our Mentorship Program. If you, or someone you know, has experience in any of the below areas and would be willing to be a mentor please let us know!
