Small Business Marketing Link + Think
It’s difficult for small businesses to relate to companies with hundreds of thousands – or even millions – in their marketing budgets. Join the Small Business Link + Think to share ideas on guerrilla marketing, targeting a niche with a limited budget and more. It’s also a great chance to network with others who understand the unique challenges marketers with limited budgets face. As our way of giving back to the Triangle community, there is no fee to attend for employees of small businesses.

Marketing That Moves Us: How to build an emotional connection with your audience
Join Sue Anger Barnett as she shares her insight on how to enhance your writing skills to build a meaningful, emotional connection with your audience.
As demands for social media, blogs and content increase, the quality of writing is slipping. Lousy writing can be confusing or misleading. Or even worse, very boring. Good writing is more than proper grammar and syntax. It pulls readers in, with fresh ideas and interesting presentations. Clarity is paramount to writing, while strong, fluid concepts and imagery make it come alive. Sue will talk about how to enhance your writing so people will want to read it.
Sue Anger Barnett is a digital marketing writer and creative writing teacher who lives in North Raleigh. When she’s not writing pithy content, she creates historical fiction. Then, she goes sailing.
