November Drink & Think: AMA Triangle’s Happy Hour at The Frontier
Join fellow marketers for a mix of networking and learning in the heart of the Triangle. This FREE Drink & Think event for members and guests happens every first Thursday of the month (except for July and December) at The Frontier in RTP. The first hour of the event is part of The Frontier’s happy hour sponsored by AMA Triangle. It will then be followed by a 30-minute keynote and discussion from 6:45 to 7:15 PM. Keynotes will include variety of topics geared towards personal, leadership, and career development.
November Drink & Think Topic: “What Now?” & “Thank You For The NO!”
“What Now?” challenges the listeners to embrace change. It makes the point that “change” should be seen as an asset and not a liability. It should be welcomed, and not feared.
“Thank You For The NO!” is about rejection. Rejection is something that we all face whether professionally or personally. Come learn ways to build up rejection immunity, take more risks & dare to live more boldly.
Rufus Stephens – Motivational Speaker
Mr. Stephens is a native of Savannah, GA. He graduated from Savannah State University and pursued degrees at the University of Florida and National Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to his wife, Cynthia, for 20 years and they have four grown children and four grandchildren. He is a business owner, corporate executive and an ordained minister of twenty years.
Mr. Stephens’ passion for public speaking has been longstanding, as he has lent his voice to eager ears for over twenty-five years. He has won numerous awards for his much loved presentations. In 2015, Mr. Stephens formed a motivational speaking company called “Raisin’ the Rufe Communications”. His empowering presentations are always intended to energize the listener toward personal appreciation and active accomplishment.
Listed among his appreciative audiences are the DePaul Alumni Association, United States Department of Energy, DePaul University Alumni Association, Kiwanis International, the Georgia House of Representatives, and Savannah State University.
Carrie Grace is a former teacher turned motivational speaker. She is on a mission to help others live more on purpose. She helps create cultures and communities that care deeply and work together better. She, also, teaches people how to build up more confidence, take risks, and reach their goals to get to the life they want. She currently travels the country inspiring others and has she’s been featured on major media including USA Today, Huffington Post, His Radio, and many more.
