Branding with Authenticity
Consumers are jaded by a thought that brands are tricking them with advertisements and messages aimed to sell them something. A lack of trust of marketing campaigns has emerged, and all brands must figure out how to fight that battle and win over the consumer. We continue to hear that as marketers, we must strive to create campaigns that are genuine and authentic. The language regarding combatting this is all around us — influencer marketing and purpose-driven branding are coming to the top of the list.
