Branding Link + Think
Branding Link + Think
Branding. It sounds simple enough…but what is it really, and how does it help drive marketing strategy and tactics? How have small and large organizations built solid positions and brands in their markets, and what can we learn from them? Whether you’re a soloprenuer or brand manager of a Fortune 500 company, what are the underpinnings for developing a brand and maintaining the position it has? The Branding Link + Think focuses on all aspects of brand development, from brand strategy and how corporate culture impacts branding, to building brand equity, implementing branding standards and executing marketing strategies that leverage brand assets.
A speaker will be brought in on a regular basis to provide insights in specific areas of branding and positioning.
This month’s speaker: N.G. Gordon
An ex-tennis pro and a former Silicon Valley startup founder, N.G. brings over 20 years of experience in B2B and B2C marketing to social media and influencer marketing.
As a brand owner with a successful business on Amazon, N.G. was looking for a social media influencer to help promote his products. When he didn’t find the right candidate, he decided to create his own influencer, in the form of a unique character, ‘Dear Mishu,’ an advice columnist based on his dog. Having launched ‘Dear Mishu’ as a micro-influencer in the pet and wellness spaces, N.G. turned his energies to applying his marketing experience to helping other brand owners understand how to strategically use influencer marketing.
N.G.’s analysis and thoughts on doing influencer marketing right have been featured on app masters, eCommerce Momentum, and Social Launch podcasts, and he is a frequent conference presenter and judge, the Influential Summit (Carlsbad, CA), the Mobile Growth Summit (San Francisco), and most recently NG spoke at the summer series of NCidea.
His audio book, Influencer Marketing Mastery, teaches the ins and outs of finding, hiring, working with, and integrating social media influencers into a brand marketing strategy. Visit his website at: https://dearmishudad.com/
