In her current role as chief marketing officer for Meredith College, Eaves-McLennan oversees a 20-member marketing department responsible for branding, advertising, message development, media and public relations, trademark licensing, visual communications, social media, web design and development, events and facilities rentals, and video-multimedia. She is responsible for overseeing the College’s third largest source of non-tuition revenue and developing marketing campaigns designed to achieve strategic enrollment, fundraising, and image goals.
Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, SAS
Since joining SAS in 2000, Guard has served in various marketing roles, helping to lead product strategy and business development efforts across SAS business units. He has worked closely with SAS’ Research and Development organization to define and manage product road maps based on market needs and customer input. His responsibility for the SAS portfolio spans analytics, data visualization, data management, business intelligence and industry solutions.
Karen McCall, MBA
Chief Communications and Marketing Officer, UNC Health Care
Karen serves as the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer (CCMO) for the UNC Health Care System. UNC Health Care is a system comprising of the UNC School of Medicine and Medical Center, eight affiliated hospitals and physician practices across the state. As CCMO, she leads marketing, public relations, patient experience and community relations. From 1988 until 2001, she was Director of Marketing for UNC Hospitals and from 2001 to 2013 she served as the Vice President for Marketing and Public Relations. While at UNC, McCall initiated marketing and communication efforts that have led to national recognition for UNC Health Care programs.

Allison joined Northwestern Mutual in 2014 as the Chief Marketing Officer for North Carolina. In addition to her role on the firm’s executive leadership team, Allison works with Northwestern Mutual corporate executives and individual financial advisors to drive productivity, revenue and market presence. A marketing veteran with experience in digital, print, social, event, PR, corporate communications, strategic partnerships and consulting, Allison has also held leadership positions for other national brands including Soccer.com, BMG Music, Time Inc., Wunderman and Forbes.

Jeff is the CEO of CRISP, a full-service digital creative agency in the Triangle that is building iconic brands each and every day. Jeff has been leading digital marketing agencies since before social media was a thing. He brings energy, expertise, and 20+ years of marketing experience to his team, including senior leadership roles at Pepsi North America, Procter & Gamble, and GE Healthcare. Jeff is a born sales leader, obsessed with revenue growth for his clients. Jeff is happiest in front of a white board, generating ideas that are meaningful and transformative. Jeff would lay down in traffic for his family, his team, his clients and a vintage pair of Air Jordans.
