Interested in helping out and meeting more people?
Here are the volunteer opportunities currently available.
AMA Triangle is always looking for people who want to volunteer and become more involved. There are a number of different committees and, depending on your interest level, you can participate on as as-needed basis or contribute in a more meaningful way throughout the year. In addition, the AMA Triangle offers numerous opportunities to take a leadership position – whether it’s leading a specific project or heading up a committee.
So what are you waiting for?!
Here’s a summary of the different committees and their functions within the organization.
The Programming Committee is responsible for all activities associated with the monthly luncheons, training programs, Link + Think, and social events.
The Communications Committee is responsible for all communications activities, including social media, content writing, news releases, video and other avenues. This Committee is also responsible for all activities associated with the marketing and branding of the Chapter, including creative and graphic design, printing, collateral development, market research, web development and digital marketing, advertising and strategic marketing and branding.
The Membership Committee is responsible for all activities associated with finding and retaining Chapter members, including data management and CRM, direct mail, prospecting, lead generation, analytics, and new member connection programs.
The Chapter annually presents High Five – a two-day marketing conference in Raleigh in late Winter/early Spring. Organizers regularly require a number of volunteers to perform a variety of functions, such as seminar hosts, registration organizers, and social media writers.
We hope you’ll become a volunteer. Not only will you meet and work with a lot of great people, but you’ll have a lot of fun as well.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You must be a current AMA member in order to volunteer.
