AMA Triangle board members serve one-year terms, from July to the following June. Each Spring the membership elects a President, President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer. Vice Presidents and Directors are appointed by the President.
Kelly Gelinne, President
Kelly Gelinne is the Marketing Manager for Nuventra Pharma Sciences, a drug development consulting company. In this role, she oversees the development and implementation of a strategic marketing plan in support of Nuventra’s growth strategy. Before she joined Nuventra, Kelly served in marketing roles at Affiliated Engineers, Inc. and Dixon Hughes Goodman, LLC. In addition to her work with AMA Triangle, she has held leadership roles in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and Raleigh Young Professionals Network (YPN). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from UNC Chapel Hill. In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world and exploring Durham’s restaurant scene. Tracy Russell-Beck, President-Elect
By day, Tracy is a Developer Marketing Manager at Qlik with a mission to build an active and engaged community of developers. Working at a data analytics company, she loves that marketing has become an art and a science. She is also fiercely passionate about using digital innovation to solve puzzles and bring people together. By night, you can find Tracy exploring Raleigh, reading or trying to learn new things. Leah Harris, Immediate Past President
Leah Harris is a Content + Programming Strategist for the Digital Summit Series – curating 18 digital marketing conferences across the US serving 25,000+ marketers. A passion for creating valuable experiences for organizations, communities, and individuals drives her career. She has strong beliefs in helping other succeed, building strong networks, and continuous learning. Lauren Godwin, Secretary
Lauren is a Marketing Manager at Oxford University Press, a department of the University of Oxford that furthers the University’s objective of excellence in research, scholarship, and education by publishing worldwide. In her role, she develops and executes marketing strategy for a diverse portfolio of academic journals. She is a native North Carolinian, but spent time living in Jackson Hole, WY and Bend, OR after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill. She fondly remembers her “Western Tour,” but is happy to back in NC. Matt Illuzzi, Treasurer
Matt is an analytical, forward-thinking leader in finance and operations. He’s a Principal and Chief Operating Officer at icimo, a tech company in Raleigh. Matt offers practical and innovative solutions in the areas of strategic planning, operational effectiveness, accounting compliance and marketing communications. He’s an alum of the Business School at Rutgers University in New Jersey, with a degree in Accounting. John-Paul Schick, General Counsel
John-Paul is a founding partner of the law firm Ortiz & Schick, PLLC, which focuses on business law, commercial real estate, construction law, and civil litigation. John-Paul and his firm provide transaction and dispute resolution advice to clients big and small, from restaurants to marketing firms, to general contractors, to IT firms, to commercial real estate developers. Their motto is, “Big firm expertise, without the big firm.” John-Paul is a graduate of Davidson College and received his law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. Born and raised in Venezuela, John-Paul is fluent in Spanish. He lives in Durham with his wife, Stacy, and their two sons. He is active with the PFA at Sterling Montessori Academy and Charter School. Danny Rosin, Vice President of Partnerships
Danny hopelessly falls in love with a lot of people he meets. The homeless man playing saxophone tirelessly in 96 degree heat. The checkout lady at Whole Foods who has purple hair, 14 nose rings and smells like 4 days ago who smiles invitingly and asks to donate $1 to a local cause. The man who has swept the floors of The Berkley for 29 years and explains that his grandma taught him about true work ethic and that kids today, just do not get it. He is the President of Brand Fuel, a full-service, free-spirited promotional products agency that helps its clients elevate their brands. He is also the active co-founder of Band Together, a volunteer-driven nonprofit that uses live music as a platform for social change that has donated $8.5 million to The Triangle community. Diane Aull, Vice President of Communications
An accomplished marketing communications professional, Diane is currently employed as the Website Manager for Acroprint Time Recorder Company in Raleigh. She favors judicious use of the Oxford comma, strongly supports one space following a period, and is a stickler for parallel construction in bullet points. In her spare time, she enjoys needlework, watching science and history documentaries, and writing about herself in the third person. Pam Williams, Vice President of Membership
